Sometime we get so rapped up with the everyday that we forget how to live. Sometimes regardless of what people will think or say you have to take a break and do what you want and if your a real parent you tell your kids they are coming with you dispute them acting like you just told them they were being shipped off to military school. So you may say if I take my kids to the park how do I entertain them. You don't. You do what our parents did. You tell them to get away from you and go play or your going to wear out their backsides. lol.
Your kids need to get away from it all also they are just to stupid to know it. Sometimes a teenager sitting by a tree bored out of their mind with their lower lip sticking out gives them a chance to consider life. But if you don't have kids and just working all the time you still need to force yourself to turn off the TV and go do something that you normally wouldn't do.
I recommend building a snowman, walking in the park, sledding, fishing, hiking or if your just not healthy drive to somewhere where you have a great view and roll down the windows. In this case time is not a factor, as a matter of fact I would recommend you do it until your sick of doing it and then that will be about the right amount of time needed to recharge your batteries.
Now I used outside examples just because I think nature heels better then anything else but you may prefer to sit by a indoor water fountain or at a aquarium. Just make sure that no matter what it is that you don't rush it. Let yourself relax and take a life breather.
It's important that you don't stay inside your house because just because your security blanket makes you fell secure doesn't mean you don't need a real hug every once in a while. So if you don't mind me being so bold. TAKE A BREAK!
If you still don't get it listen to sitting on the dock of the bay or I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round. If listening to a song can relax you just imagine what doing the same things that the writer did can do for you. Have fun on your mini sabbatical.
