Now That's Living.

One of the best traits you can have in this life is to be humble. when your humble you appreciate life more because you realize tomorrow is promised to no one. When your humble you are thankful for your blessings. Being humble helps you put others before self. Humble people see the world for the gift that it is. They notice the sunsets and take the time to sit on a mountain. They love it when it rains and they take the time to taste their food.

When bad things happen they see the positive and stay true to themselves. They marvel at wildlife and gaze at the stars. They live with a twinkle in their eye and they truly love others. They feel your pain and are truly happy when you thrive. They cheer you on and help you celebrate. They take time to help you and expect nothing in return. They love their children unconditionally and place value on morals. They keep there word and stand up for what's right. They put value on life and would give theirs to save you.

They lead by example and are not afraid to get their hands dirty. They are understanding and listen carefully. They don't speak often but what they have to say is truly enlightened. Their wise beyond their years even if they live to be a hundred. when you think of them your heart warms. When you see them you know their special even if you don't know them. They love deeper. Live bigger and are truly a gift to everyone they meet.

They are realist and know that nobody is perfect including themselves. Some have struggled with drugs and others with abuse. Some have been addicted to porn and some have killed. Some have gone hungry and raised their siblings. Some have been raped and some are physically challenged but what separates them from the rest of us is they walk away and don't look back though they never forget. They refuse to let their downfalls define them. Some have hit rock bottom and some still struggle but they are able to move on one step at a time even though some can't walk. Some have diseases and some have cancer.

They leave their mark on us long after they are gone and can never be replaced. Their influence is felt for generations to come and they change the world forever making it a better place. They help without bragging and keep secrets forever. They tell the truth only when it helps and keep their mouths shut when it doesn't serve a purpose. You can always go to them and they never judge. They stay by your bed and hold your hand and will go into the storm to bring you out. They will drop everything in an instant and drive across the country to bring you hope. When you know them you are never alone. They never stop learning and are always open to new ideas.

Yes they are as close to angels as we will ever met. A lot of the time when we think of being humble we associate it with weakness. I wish I could be that weak. How humble are you?
