Sorry Motherland

Now a lot of you may be too young to remember this but a long time ago there was a group of girls who were singers called the Dixie Chicks. Wait I have just been informed that they are still together. Now these girls are very talented but they did something that would change there lives forever. While in London (Just a convenient coincidence) the Dixie Chicks decided that they would improve foreign policy by saying  "Just so you know, we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas." The United States went crazy especially the country music fans who were the Dixie Chicks bread and butter. They banned them from country music radio, literally. Country Stations voluntarily stopped playing all their songs but it went far beyond that. They threw away, burned, smashed, and in Louisiana they used a tractor to drive over their CD's. I'm not prejudice but if you don't know what a CD is your probable too young to be reading this.

To this day there are still people that badmouth them at the mention of their name. OK I know what your thinking. That was a long time ago what does that have to do with today and my answer to you would be really nothing. I just wanted to set up a base on how we treated three young beautiful women born and raised in the United States. I could name more but we will just assume that you have been around for at least 10 years. Every one else reference last line of paragraph one.

So If we treat our fellow Americans with such love and understanding why do we continue to pay and watch British host talk about our politics. There is a reason why they are not in England talking about English Politics. Because Nobody would be impressed by their British accent. The Brits haven't been the top of anything for a long time. They use to be on the cutting edge of Music but we in the United States did what we always do. We took what they had done and Americanized it. Oh by the way, that means made it better. Like we did with Pizza, Taco's and a lot of other great food and just to prove that we are great you can still get all this food old school. Isn't America the best.

Now you might not agree with me and that is fine. But I'll give you a few more examples. The Brits use to make some nice cars but if you look it up you will find that they still build some of them but own none of them. We on the other hand lead the world in every aspect and if we don't we use our selective melting pot to Americanize it. That means we steal the best people in the world and make them American citizens and our country is so great people want to come here.

Now you can bad mouth America all you want because that's your right as an American citizen but if your British shut your Pie Hole. If your supporting this by watching these yahoo's I would just invite your to go to England and talk to the common people about their problems. You might want to become a British citizen because your going to be there for a while. While your there see if they will let you become a Talk show host that criticizes Parliament. I bet you won't get to far.

Well since I started I might as well finish. Why are we allowing British to criticize anything we do. Why do we have Brits judging our talent. If they are such great producers then Great American Groups will go to England and search them out like they use too. We don't need them on a talent shows judging Americans  we have more then enough uppity self consumed bitter people here in the united states to replace them. Just ask anyone. Oh by the way we lead the International music scene also and it's not because of England.
